Grand Chute candidates self-fund majority of campaign money ahead of Tuesday's election

GRAND CHUTE — Sizeable amounts of cash have been raised in the two races for Town Board, but for the most part, the money has come from the candidates themselves.

His opponent, Tim Bantes, has raised $2,800 for his election campaign, including $1,900 of his own money.

In the contest for supervisory seat No. 4, incumbent Brad Gehring reported $4,350 in contributions, all of it self-funded.

His opponent, Ron Torrance, reported nearly $7,300 in contributions, including $6,500 of his own money.

The winners of Tuesday's election will earn a two-year term on the board. The salary for town supervisor is $10,812.
