GALLERY: Brood XIX cicadas emerge in Middle TN

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WKRN) — Millions of cicadas are set to take over Middle Tennessee for the next six weeks.

Brood XIX, the largest periodical cicada group, is set to emerge in mid-May in more than a dozen states. These cicadas emerge every 13 years and usually stick around through mid to late June.
