Free self-defense classes in April at C.F.M.A.F in Colorado Springs

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — As spring-like weather makes its debut in Colorado, a local martial arts studio is holding free self-defense courses.

The H.O.P.E Initiative allows parents and kids to learn about child safety, anti-abduction, self-defense, and more. Those interested can sign up here.

Families that qualify for the program include:

  • Active Military/ Veterans and their families

  • Families with at least one child in elementary school in Districts 3, 1, 20, and 49, or homeschooled or charter schools.
