Free health fair in Baton Rouge offering screenings, massages, vaccines

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — A Health and Harmony Wellness Fair will be held in Baton Rouge this Saturday, April 13.

The Southern University Law Center in partnership with the “Increasing Clinicians of Diversity” Initiative through the Louisiana Department of Health, Aetna, Pennington Biomedical Research Center, and Llena (AI) Health Solutions will host the health and wellness fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the F.G. Clark Activity Center.

“The Health and Harmony Wellness Fair is not just an event. It’s a commitment to fostering a healthier community,” said Marla Dickerson, vice chancellor of the Office of Innovation and Strategic Partnerships and Initiatives. “It is vital that we utilize our resources and partnerships to provide access and opportunity to wellness services and valuable lifestyle information.”

The event is free and open to the public. Attendees can expect health screenings, massages, vaccines and a bag full of goods and prizes.
