RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – A former Richmond County deputy is suing the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office, and he is claiming discrimination.

According to records, Quincy Cannon was a Richmond County Sheriff’s Office deputy from 2018 to 2022.

Cannon, along with two other former deputies, Andrew Acosta and Robert Wilson, was arrested and charged by GBI on charges that stemmed from an officer-involved shooting incident in November of 2022.
