Flo Rida, Chris Young announced as first two headliners for 2024 California State Fair

(FOX40.COM) — The California State Fair is about four months away and two of the headliners for this year’s concert series have been announced.

Rapper Flo Rida and country singer Chris Young will perform at the state fair’s Toyota Concert Series this summer. Young will perform at 8 p.m. on July 18 and Flo Rida will take the stage at 8 p.m. on July 23.

Flo Rida, a Miami-based artist, is known for hits like “Right Round” and Wild Ones” and his 2007 breakout single “Low.”  Young has complied 13 No. 1 hits over his career including the Kane Brown-assisted track “Famous Friends” from his latest album “Young Love & Saturday Nights.”

All shows for the concert series are free with fair admission, but seating is on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 5 p.m. According to the state fair’s website, the free seating area is limited to the first 700 guests.

Lineup announced for 2024 Concerts in the Park

Fair guests can buy reserved seating for the concert series starting at $25. Ticket presales for Young and Flo Rida began Monday with general sales starting Tuesday.

More performers are expected to be announced over the coming weeks on the fair’s website.

The California State Fair will take place from July 12 through July 28.

Daily admission for the fair is $16 for adults, $12 for seniors ages 62 and up, and $10 for kids ages 5 to 12. Tickets could be bought in advance with a $2 discount.

Children ages 4 and under can get into the fair for free.
