First day of early voting in Harris County

HARRIS COUNTY, Ga. (WRBL)— Monday, April 29 marks the beginning of advance voting in Harris County.

Early voting is only available at one precinct in Harris County. It is housed inside the Harris County Board of Elections & Registrations building located at 757 Carver Circle in Hamilton.

The precinct will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. through May 17.

There are only two Saturday’s voters can cast their ballot early, those are May 4 and 11.

Election day is May 21.

What’s on the Ballot?

There are only two contested races in Harris County, both being commissioner’s seats.

Three candidates are vying for the District 4 seat. Candidates include incumbent Bobby Irions, longtime resident Jim Kelly, and small businessowner Richie Grantham.

Two candidates are also vying for the District 5 seat, including incumbent Susan Andrews and small businessowner Brice Patterson.
