The team from Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service had to remove a large number of patio slabs and earth at the rear of the home to find the poodle.

But as they were unable to determine Jock’s exact location, specially trained officers from the Wales Urban Search and Rescue (USAR) Team were called in.

“Crews successfully managed to rescue Jock, a three-year-old black Poodle, who was alive and well, and was reunited with his owner,” a spokesperson for Mid and West Wales Fire and Rescue Service said. Mid and West Wales Fire and Resc
