A Ferrari-Powered Toyota 86 Is a Wacky Street Car
Last summer, we learned that drift superstar Ryan Tuerck was behind a project to swap a Ferrari 458's engine into a Toyota 86. The car was finished in November, and now it's been taken to a place we never expected to see it: the back roads of New England. Oh yes, this monster is street legal.
The fellows over at Donut Media captured Tuerck's "4586" doing normal street car things, like driving to the diner, getting pulled over, and drifting all over the place on track. You know, the sort of stuff you do in your normal, yes-officer-this-is-street-legal car.
And despite being pulled over, Tuerck was let off with a warning. Apparently, some concerned citizens called to complain about the noise, but the cop didn't seem to care too much.
And make sure to watch until the end to see the 4586 participate in a glorious tandem drift. Only one rear tire was delaminated in the process.
