Fentanyl, meth and heroin found at Chester County home during drug investigation

CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — Several drugs including fentanyl, meth, and heroin were reportedly found inside a Chester Co. home during an ongoing drug investigation.

According to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office, deputies executed a search warrant around 6 a.m. Monday, April 22, at a home along Summersby Street.

While at the home, deputies arrested Ronald Daniel Zarko of Chester. The sheriff’s office said Zarko was the subject of an ongoing drug investigation.

Zarko was found in possession of the following:

  • One loaded firearm

  • 12 grams of a substance believed to be fentanyl

  • 1/2 gram of a substance believed to be methamphetamine

  • 1/2 gram of a substance believed to be heroin

  • Multiple unknown powdered substances that will be submitted for analysis

Zarko has been charged with the distribution of fentanyl.

Additional warrants have been filed for possession with intent to distribute heroin, possession of methamphetamine, trafficking fentanyl, and possession of a firearm by a person convicted of a violent felony. This investigation remains open and ongoing.
