Family of injured Hermann officer thanks first responders

ST. LOUIS — The family of a Hermann police officer nearly killed in a shooting last year is thanking everyone who helped save his life.  On Saturday at Hermann High School, the parents of Adam Sullentrup presented handmade quilts to more than 30 first responders who were called on the night of March 12th, 2023.

A man they were trying to arrest shot Sullentrup and his partner, Det. Sgt. Mason Griffin, at that point. Griffith did not survive. Sullentrup attended the program. His family tells Fox 2 that he continues to make progress with his recovery.
