Eufaula Police seize cocaine and marijuana during a search, man later arrested in Dothan

EUFAULA, Ala. (WRBL) – The Eufaula Police Department said on Wednesday that a search led to the discovery of cocaine, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia; resulting in an Eufaula man being arrested in Dothan.

During a search on Overlook Drive on April 16, Eufaula Police say officers found precursors and materials used to convert cocaine hydrochloride (powder cocaine) into crack cocaine.

Police say officers did not locate 39-year-old Terence Maurice McKinnon during the search. Through a joint effort with the Houston and Henry County Sheriff’s Offices, McKinnon was later found and arrested in Dothan, Alabama, on April 16.

At this time, McKinnon is charged with:

  • Fleeing or attempting to elude

  • Unlawful possession of a controlled substance

  • Unlawful possession of marijuana

  • Unlawful manufacturing of a controlled substance
