Elizabethton-Carter County Animal Shelter temporarily limits dog intakes

ELIZABETHTON, Tenn. (WJHL) — The Elizabethton-Carter County Animal Shelter is currently limiting dog intakes.

In a social media post, the shelter said it is only accepting emergency intakes due to a “tremendous” number of recent intakes.

Wood Construction alleged victims could get restitution

“Please if you are interested in a new pet for your family, please come by and adopt one of our wonderful dogs,” the shelter said in the post.

The shelter encourages pet owners to spay and neuter their animals.
