ECSO investigating fatal shooting on Topaz Avenue

The Escambia County Sheriff's Office is investigating a fatal shooting on Topaz Avenue.

Deputies responded around 8:30 p.m. to Topaz Avenue after receiving reports of gunfire, according to ECSO spokesperson Morgan Lewis.

"We located a male deceased from a gunshot wound outside of a vehicle," she told the News Journal.

Lewis said the ECSO is still investigating, and there are currently no suspects.

Anyone with information related to the incident is asked to call the ECSO at 850-436-9620 or Crime Stoppers at 850-433-STOP.
