What offices are up for election and who are the candidates?

Three Bay County municipalities have elections Tuesday: Panama City Beach, Callaway and Mexico Beach.

In PCB, Mayor Mark Sheldon is running for re-election against Stuart Tettemer.

In Callaway, incumbent Bob Pelletier is running against Christine Smallwood for the Ward 3 seat, and incumbent Kenneth Ayers is running against David Agosta for the Ward 4 seat.

In Mexico Beach, the offices of mayor, Group 4 council member and Group 5 council member are up for election. Unlike the other listed offices, the office of mayor in Mexico Beach is not a traditional election, but a recall election.

Residents will be asked whether they support recalling current Mayor Michele Miller. They then will be asked to choose a replacement. If the majority of residents vote in favor of recalling Miller, then the winning replacement will assume the position.

Richard Wolff, the current Group 5 council member of Mexico Beach, and Erik Fosshage are running to be Miller's replacement. Jason Adams, Cindy Jolley and Lisa Logan are running for the Group 4 seat. One of them will replace Adrian Welle, who is not seeking re-election. Larry Henderson and Timothy Linderman are running to replace Wolff for the Group 5 seat.
