Dillon County man pleads guilty, sentenced for 2 gun crimes

DILLON COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — A Dillon County man was sentenced to six years in prison after pleading guilty on Tuesday to two counts of felon in possession of a firearm, the Fourth Circuit Solicitor’s Office said.

Quincy Christian, 34, of Lake View, pleaded guilty in Dillon County General Sessions Court. Judge Kirk Griffin sentenced Christian to six years in prison.

Christian, a convicted felon, was caught twice by law enforcement with a weapon, according to the solicitor’s office.

“We take firearm offenses seriously, especially when a convicted felon is in possession of one,” Assistant Solicitor Shipp Daniel said in a news release.
