DC police looking for suspects who robbed CVS, pointed gun at special police officer

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) said it was looking for the suspects who pointed a gun at a special police officer during a robbery in a Northeast CVS.

On April 20 at around 8 p.m., the suspects went into the CVS located in the 800 block of Bladensburg Rd. and started to steal items. A security guard confronted them as they were leaving without paying, and one of the suspects took out a gun, pointing it at the officer before the suspects escaped from the store.

DC police arrest 18-year-old for shots fired in Southeast neighborhood

The special police officer was not harmed.

Anyone with information was asked to call (202) 727-9099 or text 50411. MPD is offering a reward of up to $10,000 to anyone with information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
