Daysha Johnson: Championing leadership and impact across collegiate boundaries

SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Daysha Johnson, a graduate student pursuing her Master of Business Administration (MBA) at Angelo State University, has been recognized as the 2024 South Central Province Collegian of the Year by the Delta Sigma Pi (DSP) national professional business fraternity.

This prestigious accolade acknowledges Johnson’s outstanding leadership and steadfast dedication to embodying DSP’s core values, selected from a group of nominees representing 34 collegiate chapters across the South-Central Province, Johnson’s achievement highlights her significant contributions within the fraternity.

Furthermore, Johnson’s influence has extended beyond the boundaries of her competitive province, as she also earned the esteemed title of 2024 DSP Southwestern Region Collegian of the year. Institutions such as Baylor University, Texas Christian University, and the University of Texas- Arlington, among others were in competition.

Johnson has also actively participated in various campus organizations, including the African American Students Assocation as a representative in the Student Government Association (SGA). Her dedication to campus engagement and community service has been acknowledged with awards such as the Promising Female Leader Award and the Most Valued Ram Award at SGA’s prestigious 2023 Rammy Awards Ceremony. As she prepares to graduate in May. Johnson’s impactful leadership and unwavering commitment to excellence serve as a testament to her enduring legacy at Angelo State University.
