He’s finally set the date. Late this afternoon, Rishi Sunak made a surprise announcement, calling for an election on July 4.

Kamal Ahmed and Camilla Tominey rush back to the studio to give their snap reactions on why now and what happens next, joined by former Brexit Secretary David Davis.

Plus, they scrutinise the tearful testimony of former CEO of the Post Office Paula Vennells after she finally appeared before the inquiry into the Horizon IT scandal and ask, will anyone ever be held accountable for the harm done to sub-postmasters?

They also reflect on the MP Craig Mackinlay’s remarkable return to parliament six months on from a life-threatening battle with sepsis which led to the amputation of both of his hands and feet.

In a previously unseen video shared exclusively with The Telegraph, they hear from Mr Mackinlay himself on the eve of his surgery last year.

Finally, Kamal and Camilla share their favourite jokes. So what is the difference between a buffalo and a bison?
