DA: 30-year-old man found guilty of child molestation
GOSHEN, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 30-year-old man was found guilty on Monday of Child Molestation, according to the Office of the District Attorney, County of Tulare.
On March 18, 2024, Department 6 of the Tulare County Superior Court, Visalia Division, and a Tulare County jury found 30-year-old Tony Debem guilty of Child Molestation.
The DA says Debem was convicted of two felony counts of sexual intercourse or sodomy of a child aged 10 or under and two felony counts of lewd act upon a child. The crimes were committed against a single minor female in December 2023.
Sentencing is set for May 8, 2024, in Tulare County Superior Court where Debem faces life in state prison. Debem will also be required to register as a sex offender, according to the DA.
