CHICAGO — A little bit of award-winning country twang is coming to Guaranteed Rate Field on the South Side this June.

According to a press release from the Chicago White Sox, multi-platinum, CMA Award-winning country music artist Jordan Davis is scheduled to perform for fans at Guaranteed Rate Field following the White Sox vs. Colorado Rockies game on Friday, June 28 at 6:10 p.m. Central Time.

On-field, “Buy Dirt” Postgame Concert passes – named as a hat tip to Davis’ 2022 CMA and NSAI Song of the Year – are available now at whitesox.com/concert.

Davis recently celebrated his sixth career No. 1 on country radio with the two-time platinum hit “Next Thing You Know,” solidifying him as one of the industry’s leading singer/songwriters.

The record marked the Shreveport, Louisiana-native’s third consecutive No. 1 off his album, “Bluebird Days,” which also featured his platinum-selling single, “What My World Spins Around” and the two-time platinum multi-week No. 1,“Buy Dirt.”

Davis earned iHeartRadio Music Awards’ Best New Country Artist in 2019 and has amassed more than six billion streams worldwide following a breakthrough year in 2022. His White Sox Postgame performance further complements the wide-ranging success of his headlining “Damn Good Time” tour in 2023 and recent concerts alongside other acclaimed country music stars, including Danielle Bradbery, Luke Combs, Thomas Rhett, Lainey Wilson and many others.

Field pass packages for the postgame concert are available to single-game ticket purchasers and White Sox season ticket holders. Space is limited, and ticket prices are subject to change. Season ticket holders will receive information from their representatives with a special offer to add field passes to tickets currently held for the Friday evening game.

All fans with a ticket to the game will have the opportunity to stay for Davis’ 60-minute set. Weather permitting, the postgame concert is scheduled to begin 30 minutes following the final out of the game.
