‘I was completely surprised’: Associate Principal at school in Neenah greeted with Diet Coke after Lent’s conclusion

NEENAH, Wis. (WFRV) – Students at St. Gabriel Elementary School provided their Associate Principal with plenty of Diet Coke after she gave it up for Lent.

Jennifer Giombetti gave up Diet Coke for Lent, and now that it has passed she was greeted with no shortage of the beverage. Giombetti said she was completely surprised.

Organizers even reportedly tried to get a Coke truck to deliver the soda but ended up getting donations from students.

There was a sign on a cooler that said: ‘This School Runs on Prayer & Diet Coke. We *heart emoji* Mrs. G.’
