Columbus Police lieutenant arrested for alleged child sex crimes
CHEROKEE COUNTY, Kan. — A southeast Kansas police lieutenant was arrested, Wednesday morning, for child sex crimes.
David Justice, 55, of Baxter Springs has been on unpaid administrative leave from the Columbus Police Department since this investigation began early last year.

Columbus Police lieutenant arrested for alleged child sex crimes
He was arrested for aggravated indecent liberties with a child, indecent solicitation of a child, and promoting obscenity to a minor.
KBI agents executed several search warrants to obtain evidence in the case. Justice is in the Cherokee County Jail on a $25,000 bond.
The investigation is ongoing.
