Colorado man, Kansas man seriously injured in crash

WICHITA, Kan. (KSNW) — A man from Colorado and a man from Kansas were both seriously injured in a crash in northwest Kansas Thursday afternoon.

One person seriously injured after motorcycle versus vehicle crash

According to the Kansas Highway Patrol, at 3:35 p.m., a 52-year-old man from Colby was driving a 2003 Chevy Pickup north on County Road 31.

At the same time, a 42-year-old man from Colorado Springs, Colorado, was driving a 2019 Ford Pickup west on U.S. Highway 83.

The KHP says the driver of the Chevy Pickup did not stop at the stop sign, entered the intersection and was hit by the Ford Pickup. Both pickups ended up in the north ditch.

Both drivers were taken with suspected serious injuries to an area hospital.
