Closures, backups on I-395, I-695 for crash in DC

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Officials said that one person was in the hospital after a crash on Interstate 395 Monday.

DC Fire and EMS said that the person had minor injuries.

Lane closures caused backups on Interstates 395 and 695.

D.C. police said that as of 11:50 a.m., I-395 southbound and I-695 westbound were closed between 11th Street Bridge and 3rd Street Tunnel.

Traffic was being diverted on to I-295 northbound. Traffic from I-395 was being diverted to the 3rd Street Tunnel.

Sprinklr, a U.S. firm offering a customer experience management platform to global brands, has laid off about 3% of its workforce — around 116 people — to realign its customer operations team, the company confirmed to TechCrunch in a statement. The New York-headquartered company, which counts Microsoft, Samsung, P&G and over 60% of the Fortune 100 companies globally as customers, started notifying affected employees in markets including the U.S. and India about its decision on Thursday, TechCrunch exclusively learned and confirmed with the company through an email.
