Class of 2024 celebrated at Oak Park High

As mortarboards filled an overcast sky on Thursday evening, a group of more than 350 students from Oak Park High School and Oak Park Independent School became the first of the county's public high school class of 2024 to graduate.

The evening ceremony drew a crowd of family and friends to Oak Park High's hillside football stadium.

A large video screen provided a backdrop for the ceremony, lighting up with a childhood photo of graduates as they crossed the stage to collect their diploma.
