Chuy’s announces new location in Mueller community
AUSTIN (KXAN) — Famous Tex-Mex restaurant chain Chuy’s announced its newest location will be opening its doors April 30.
Chuy’s fans living in east Austin won’t have to drive as far to get their queso and margarita fix. The chain announced Tuesday that its new location is located in the Mueller community.

The restaurant is located at 2027 Aldrich Street, right across the street from the Mueller Farmers’ Market location and within walking distance from Alamo Drafthouse.
The iconic Austin-based chain has been expanding its reach since opening the original location on Barton Springs Road in 1982, with nearly 100 locations in 17 states.
The new location will be the first Chuy’s in east Austin, marking what the company called a milestone for the brand in its hometown.
“We’re thrilled to begin serving the Mueller community and expand our presence in Austin,” said Josh Offer, Chuy’s Mueller General Manager, in a release.
A grand opening event will be held on Tuesday, April 30 at 11 a.m.
The Aldrich Street location’s hours will be Sunday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Happy hour will be weekdays from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
