Child injured in Bartlesville hit-and-run bicycle accident Sunday, police seek white SUV

A child was injured in a hit-and-run accident in Bartlesville on Sunday, police reported.

Bartlesville Police Department was called to the scene in the 100 block of South Fenway at approximately 1:16 p.m. after witnesses reported that a white SUV struck a child riding a bicycle and then fled the area.

The BPD are actively seeking the driver of the white SUV. Details about the vehicle are still under investigation, but witnesses were able to confirm the color and type of the vehicle involved.

Emergency medical services transported the injured child to a hospital in Tulsa for treatment. The extent of the child’s injuries has not been disclosed.

Police urge anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact the Bartlesville Police Department. Updates will be provided as more details become available.
