Central Dauphin School District coach resigns, arrested for institutional sexual assault

DAUPHIN COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM) – A Central Dauphin East High School girl’s wrestling coach and “paraprofessional” was arrested and charged with institutional sexual assault.

According to Lower Paxton Township Police, Emily Rajis was arrested after officers received a report regarding inappropriate contact between a Central Dauphin East High School faculty member and a student.

Police say they identified three student victims and Rajis has resigned from her position with the school. Rajis is listed on the district’s website as a paraprofessional and a coach on the school’s wrestling website.

Rajis is facing three felony charges each of unlawful contact with a minor and institutional sexual assault and a misdemeanor corruption of minors charge.

Rajis’ bail was set at $50,000 and a preliminary hearing is set for May 6.
