Celebrity Big Brother has confirmed there is one final eviction twist in store for the housemates.

The six remaining housemates — Bradley Riches, Colson Smith, David Potts, Fern Britton, Louis Walsh and Nikita Kuzmin — think they've got a pass to Friday's final… but that's not the case.

Will Best announced at the end of Tuesday's (March 19) double-eviction special on ITV1 that one more housemate will be evicted before the big night.

Viewers can now vote for who they want to win Celebrity Big Brother, but the vote will freeze from 6pm on Wednesday (March 20).

The housemate with the lowest percentage of the public vote will then face a backdoor eviction, which viewers will see later.

Big Brother's latest eviction twist comes on the heels of Marisha Wallace and Zeze Millz leaving the house as a result of the public vote.

The eviction result came as something of a shock since the live audience outside the Big Brother house frequently chanted 'Get Fern out'.

Fern had been seen clashing with Nikita during Tuesday's (March 19) episode over her feelings that he'd spoken condescendingly about her age.

Prior to Tuesday's live show, there was a double eviction last Friday where Levi Roots and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu were voted out of the house.

There was also controversy following their exits, as Lorraine Kelly had to clarify comments made in a live link with Good Morning Britain host Susanna Reid about Ekin-Su supposedly pulling out of a live interview.

A spokesperson for Lorraine has since explained: "We'd like to clear up a misunderstanding, Ekin-Su did not pull out of the show or throw the programme into chaos this morning.

"We'd love to welcome her back on the programme soon. We apologise for the confusion."

Celebrity Big Brother airs Sundays through Fridays at 9pm on ITV1 and the ITV Hub, followed by Late & Live on ITV2 immediately following each new episode.
