Celebration of Life service planned for Veronica Butler

HUGOTON, Kan. (KSNW) — One of the two Hugoton women killed in Oklahoma will be remembered with a Celebration of Life service at the beginning of May.

Veronica Butler, 27, was a fiancée and mother of two children. On March 30, she went with Jilian Kelley to visit her children in Oklahoma. The women disappeared that day, and their bodies were found on Sunday, April 14. Four people are charged with kidnapping and murdering them.

Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton is handling Butlers’s arrangements and posted her obituary.

It describes her as a fiancée and mother, a caring person, and a talented cook. She was a Certified Nursing Assistant and was attending Seward County Community College to become a surge tech. She was known for her homemade biscuits and gravy.
