Caught on cam: Woman does yoga before reportedly stealing croissants from bakery

TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — One woman will be saying “Namaste” in jail after she was caught on surveillance footage practicing some yoga before breaking in and stealing from a bakery.

In a video released by Phillippa’s Bakery in Australia on March 3, a woman was spotted standing outside of the shop.

But what happened next came as a shock.

The woman, 44, is seen doing some common yoga stretches, kicking her legs a few times, and then rolling around, before getting up to break into the store.

“Seems like yoga is a must before breaking in,” the bakery joked online.

The bakery described their reaction as “surprised,” when they viewed the security footage.

In a statement to NBC News, the bakery said the woman also stole several items, including croissants, an iPad, hot cross buns, and shoes that “must have smelt too good.”
