On Wednesday morning, New York Mayor Eric Adams addressed the police action at Columbia University, which saw the arrest and removal of hundreds of antiwar demonstrators from the campus. During the press conference, Adams pointed to “outside agitators,” who he described as co-opting the protests led by university students. “They are attempting to disrupt our city. We are not going to allow that to happen,” said Adams.
