The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau said that people who use "buy now, pay later" (BNPL) services are entitled to the same legal protections as those who use credit cards.
Growing use: The use of BNPL services spiked in 2021, with loans among the five major BNPL firms totaling more than $24 billion, nearly 10 times more than in 2019. [The Hill]

3 QUESTIONS
...about The Kardashians Season 5
The new season of The Kardashians premiered on Hulu. I asked Kelsey Weekman, an avid Kardashians follower, about what to know before watching.
Lily: What can we expect this new season?
Kelsey: There are a few big storylines: Kim is in her “actress era,” Kris has a health scare, Kourtney faces pregnancy complications and her infamous ex Scott Disick returns.
Lily: Is this season worth watching?
Kelsey: Yes! I’ve found that the TV show always has the “real” story behind the headlines. After several years and spinoffs, it’s still fascinating to watch.
Lily: What’s something fun to cook if you’re watching the premiere with friends?
Kelsey: I’d recommend trying Kris Jenner’s famous 5-ingredient lemon cake. It actually lost a baking competition on the show, but judges still declared it delicious.
