The Bugatti Chiron is built to an incredibly high standard, but that doesn't mean it's impervious to faults. Bloomberg (via Automotive News) reports that Bugatti is recalling 47 examples of the Chiron for bad welds in the seat recliner brackets. Twelve recalled Chirons are located in the US, and Bugatti plans on transporting those cars to dealers for inspection.

Bugatti will replace the entire seat assembly at one of its 12 US service centers if a bad weld has been found. It seems to us like an important fix, since you wouldn't want anything going wrong with your seat in a car that has a limited top speed of 261 mph.

The Chiron isn't the only hypercar to face a recall too. Last year, Pagani was forced to recall the Huayra over airbags that could deploy improperly, and back in 2014, Koenigsegg recalled one Agera, the only example in the US.
