Bright Futures Joplin celebrates successful “Guns & Hoses” fundraiser
JOPLIN, Mo. — This year’s Guns & Hoses event brought in record-breaking numbers for Bright Futures Joplin.
This year’s event raised more than $32,000.
The 7th annual Guns and Hoses happened nine days ago with the Joplin Fire Department beating the Joplin Police Department 51 to 47.
Guns & Hoses brings funds to Bright Futures Joplin
The game is Bright Future Joplin’s largest annual fundraiser.
Right now the organization is sending 620 weekend food bags home with students.
Those alone cost the non-profit $60,000 a year.
