Breakers event raises money for Navy SEALs as attendees get a taste of what they can do

A Wednesday event at The Breakers honored the Navy SEALs and at the same time helped raise money to help SEALs and their families.

Attendees of the the sixth biennial Palm Beach Navy SEAL Evening of Tribute were treated to demonstrations such as helicopter drops, beach landings and bringing down a suspect by the elite special forces.

The event benefits the Navy SEAL Foundation and the Navy National UDT-SEAL Museum in Fort Pierce. The money provides assistance to the U.S. Navy SEALs and their families for medical expenses, scholarships, surviving spouse programs, respite programs and more.

The event began in 2013.
