MOUNT JOY, Pa. (WHTM) – The Friends of the Milanof-Schock Library are hosting their Annual Book Sale from June 20 to June 22.

The sale will take place at Donegal High School in Mount Joy.

Thursday, June 20th’s sale is a Preview and Purchase event with admission costing $10. The sale will run from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. The remaining two days of the sale are free to attend.

The sale will go from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, June 21 and from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 22. Books will be $5 per bag on Saturday.

The standard price for the rest of the event is:

• Hardcovers – $2

• Paperbacks – $1

• Children’s Books – $0.50

There will be over 40,000 books for sale and a “special priced” area with CDs and DVDs.

There will also be a concession stand with hot dogs, BBQ, sweets, treats and drinks.

Credit cards, cash and checks will be accepted. Reusable tote bags to carry the books are recommended.

All proceeds from the book sale directly support the library’s programs and services and helps provide new materials and equipment.
