Boil water notice issued for Coeburn Waterworks customers

COEBURN, Va. (WJHL) — The Town of Coeburn has issued a boil water notice for Coeburn Waterworks customers.

According to the town, the notice was issued due to potential water service disruptions or low pressure in the system due to maintenance.

“The affected area is from Central Avenue at the car wash to Pine Camp Road at the intersection of CNW,” the notice states.

Affected customers are encouraged to use bottled water or to boil tap water before consuming. Water should be boiled for one minute and allowed to cool before use.
