Boichik Bagels opens first San Francisco location

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) — Boichik Bagels now has a San Francisco location, which opened on Saturday.

On Saturday, owner Emily Winston popped a bottle of champagne with a sword to celebrate the grand opening. The staff shared the bubbly with the dozens of customers lined up to get a lox, garlic, or pumpernickel bagel.

From bialy to cinnamon raisin, Boichik has a myriad of bagels with an assortment of cream cheeses.

“Big thanks to my staff, to our new staff. We’ve taken over the whole Bay Area at this point,” said Winston in a Facebook video.

This new bagel shop marks Boichik Bagel’s sixth location: two shops in Berkeley, Larkspur, Palo Alto, and Santa Clara.

The location of the new store is 3665 Sacramento Street in Presidio Heights.

Boichik Bagels is LGBTQ+ and women-owned.
