Body recovered from Mississippi River in Garyville, SJSO reports
ST. JOHN THE BAPTIST PARISH, La. (WGNO) — A body was recovered in the Mississippi River in Garyville on Wednesday, April 24.
The St. John Sheriff’s Office reported deputies responded to a call around 8:30 a.m. about a “badly decomposed” body floating in the river in Garyville.
Man accused in 2016 shooting death of Jefferson Parish detective sentenced to life
Deputies, along with the West St. John Fire Department, removed the body of a man from the river near the levee in Edgard around 11:30 a.m.
