Blues singer King George performing Easter Sunday concert in Baton Rouge

BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — Affiliate Nation is bringing the inaugural “All White Annual Concert” to Baton Rouge this spring.

The event is set for Sunday, March 31 at the Southern University Mini Dome. Doors open at 6 p.m., and the concert will start at 7 p.m.

Organizer Adrian Hammond said the concert promises to be a landmark event. King George, a blues artist, will headline it. His previous Baton Rouge performance in January 2023 attracted an impressive crowd of 7,500 at the Raising Cane’s River Center.

“This year, we aim to expand our musical offerings by including Zydeco, with performances from renowned artists like Keith Frank, Roi Chip Anthony, Tyree Neal, and Adrian Bagher at the Southern University Mini Dome, ensuring an unparalleled experience for our audience,” said Hammond.

Tickets are sold at Boil & Roux and online at Eventbrite.

Additionally, the concert marks the beginning of the “All White Annual Concert” in Baton Rouge, setting the stage for a new tradition, according to Hammond.
