BJ’s Wholesale Club to bring 150 jobs to Myrtle Beach

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — BJ’s Wholesale Club will be coming to Myrtle Beach.

The company is expected to bring 150 jobs to the area and is set to open later this year.

This will be the second club in South Carolina. The other location is located outside of Charleston.

BJ’s Wholesale Club offers a one-stop shopping experience that includes a vast selection of fresh foods, produce, a full-service deli, household essentials, pet supplies, exclusive offerings and more.

The new clubs will also have a treasure-hunt experience that has an assortment of both local and seasonal items, as well as home décor, apparel, toys, and latest technology, the company’s website said.

“BJ’s combination of unbeatable value and convenience continues to resonate with members, and we’re pleased with the performance of our new clubs,” Bill Werner said. He is the executive vice president of strategy and development at BJ’s Wholesale Club. “Our real estate pipeline is the strongest it’s been in 20 years, and we look forward to helping even more families save up to 25% off grocery store prices as we add clubs to both new and existing markets.”
