UPDATE: Berrien High School lockdown caused by hoax call

May 16—NASHVILLE — A hoax phone call caused Berrien High School to go into lockdown, the county's board of education said Thursday.

Law enforcement conducted a sweep of the entire campus while students were safe in a secure location, according to the school's Facebook posts.

Buses will continue to operate and students who drive to school will leave at their regular dismissal times, the posts said.
