Behchokǫ̀ RCMP say they've called off a search for a missing man.

Ralph Beaulieu, 54, was reported missing on May 9 after he didn't show up at his cabin on May 8.

"After an exhaustive search of the area, the difficult decision to conclude the search and rescue operation was made in consultation with search partners and Beaulieu's family," RCMP spokesperson Matt Halstead said in a news release Wednesday.

An investigation into Beaulieu's disappearance is ongoing and future searches may take place if more information is received, Halstead wrote.

Anyone with information about Beaulieu's whereabouts is asked to contact the Behchokǫ̀ RCMP.
