Barricaded person in Oakland in custody

A person is in custody after being barricaded in Pittsburgh’s Oakland neighborhood.

Pitt Police said emergency crews were in the 300 block of Oakland Avenue. Streets adjacent to the area were closed to traffic.

A large police presence responded to the area at around 12:10 p.m. The person was taken into custody just before 12:40 p.m.
