Authorities investigate 'sensitive' incident at Ramsey park

RAMSEY, Minn. (FOX 9) - An investigation was underway Monday after what authorities are calling a "sensitive incident" in Rum River Park in Ramsey, Minnesota.

In a statement, a spokesperson for the Anoka County Sheriff's Office said the investigation into the incident is ongoing, but said no other information was currently available.

In an earlier conversation, Ramsey police told FOX 9 it had responded to a 911 call at the park Monday morning but said the Anoka County Sheriff's Criminal Investigations Division was handling the case.

FOX 9 has been unable to confirm the exact circumstances of the incident.

However, the sheriff's office says there is no threat to the public resulting from the situation.
