Aurora woman accused of fatally shooting husband

STONE COUNTY, Mo. — Charges are filed against an Aurora woman who’s accused of killing her husband.

Wednesday morning Stone County prosecutors filed charges of first degree murder and armed criminal action against Chris Tina Miller, 62.

Missouri State Highway Patrol troopers took Miller into custody Tuesday night in Vernon County.

Stone County authorities received a call Tuesday morning about a suspicious situation at a residence in rural aurora. When officers arrived, they found a 50-year-old man dead from a gunshot wound.

Stone County Sheriff Doug Rader said the victim is the suspect’s husband and his office has responded to this address numerous times for domestic calls.
