Annual Way of the Cross event in Harrisburg

(WHTM)– The group Pax Christi held its annual walking Way of the Cross in Harrisburg on Good Friday, the day Jesus was crucified.

They made 14 stops, representing the 14 stations of the cross, with starting at the courthouse and ending at Kunkle Plaza.

“We can do things individually to improve the lives of our sisters and brothers, our siblings, but to really make larger changes in accordance with the gospel you need to do that in community, and so this speaks to that,” Kevin Long said.

The group uses scripture as a way to spark dialogue relevant to today’s social issues.
