Amherst police locate woman with Dementia

Update: Smith has been located.

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — Amherst police are searching for missing woman who suffers from Dementia.

63-year-old Jamye Smith was last seen leaving her home on Monroe Drive in Williamsville around 9:30 a.m. Sunday. She is 5-foot-0, with grey hair and dark eyes and wearing eyeglasses. She also had a recent leg injury that may cause a limp.

She was seen wearing a long brown suede coat, a green hat, blue jeans and grey sneakers.
